As I stand before you in this stadium, we are going to discuss the educational crisis around the world. Did y’all know that the general 5th grade student these days does not know how to put words in alphabetical order? I mean, seriously, how hard is it to get some darn words alphabetized? Apparently we need to add more technology to the whole ecosystem so they can learn how to look at an alphabet and it can be very hands-on, because obviously most kids need to know how to actually complete an assignment. Remember this quotation: I am going to limit the web sites and sources for all the technology, because of the advertising for the industrial companies. Some of the advertising dialogue can be very irritating to your learning experiences. Some of the words are intentional to make you click on the ad, but seriously, we don’t want out children exposed to that. And when I limit the computer sites, I hope it understandable because I want to make sure there isn’t any unnecessary stimulation and exposure. I am just thinking about the children. And I can relieve the unpopular superstition that you can go blind by just trying to photocopy something. Now everybody knows that this paragraph I just recited about child education is going to be monumental all around the world, oh yes and make sure to thank our sponsors over here at the white house, champion shoes. They donate every penny they make to help the survival in Hay Tee. And thank y’all all for coming out to show your appreciation for education and now 5th grade can know what a homophone is.

My Creature

"It's alive Mua-ha-ha-haaaaaaaaaa!!!" Well, not really. This is the story of how Woolly Pit Rats survived for so long, but their are very few (due to the ugliness of this animal, bless their hearts).

One day there was a Woolly Pit Rat named Bob. Bob lived in a dark pit, where it was very humid, so his hair was all puffy. He pretty much looked like a pea pod with a brown-gray tennis ball on top. So anyways, he went to school one day, and these mice were making fun of him, just because his mom is a Green Pit Viper and his dad is a Bosavi Woolly Rat. So after school he told his parents what happened and they just ignored it (now that's good parenting). So the next day at school the whole class had recess. They were still teasing him, so he just ignored it. Suddenly, he saw a very big owl swoop down and take the mice 1 by 1. Before he knew it, they were all gone. Soon the owl came down and approached him.
" I am very hungry, but you look WAY too nasty and ugly to eat, so I guess I'll just find something else."
From then on he never got made fun of again (even though he was still ugly) and he used his ugliness as an advantage. That is why they aren't very rare, because of their lack of tastefulness. And also Bob eventually died because he was way to ugly and nobody cared about him, so when he got sick, they didn't even care to pay his medical bill and stuff, so yeah, he died.

Chapter 1 Health

I think that the Circulatory, Respiratory, Digestive, and Excretory systems are considered transport systems because your food travels down and out (if you know what I mean), and your air and oxygen travel down, around, and back up, so they transport from 1 place to another while the organs help different things go to one place to another. But each system help each other out,and they all make up your insides, and help you stay alive. And it helps you get rid of your way and transport it from food to waste, and it helps you flush out your system, and get rid of the things that can make you sick, as well as dead skin and stuff like that. Basically, you need your body systems and all that stuff to keep your water content balanced, as well as everything else balanced, by transporting things in and out of your body. So I think that is why they are considered transport systems.

After Taking The TAKS

What I thought about the TAKS. Well, at first before the test, I felt like I was going to just break down and cry. I was seriously scared because I didn’t know what was coming and what to expect. And it was also kind of scary because I wouldn’t know the difficulty level, so I didn’t know how hard it was really going to be. Now let me get on to the details. Oh yeah, about the math. It took me forever to do it just because I wanted to be 100% sure about my answers. It was pretty easy, because I used my strategies and looked for the key words, and boxed them in so I wouldn’t forget they were there. There wasn’t really one specific question I had problems with, considering if I had a problem then I would just reread the question. I breezed through all the questions and had time to prove my answers and be pretty sure about it, just a little over 2-3 hours. That was pretty fast for me. But I just think that the stress and worrying about the test was more pain then the test itself. I was just hoping that there would be more simplifying fraction questions on there, because that is my favorite thing to do in math. And I really got to know how to simplify fractions really good, because of that rap that Pamela and me made. But that’s a whole other story. Now to summarize about the math TAKS, it was easy, it was fast, and I hope I passed. Hey, that rhymed. Now on to the next one, the reading TAKS. The reading TAKS was easy, but harder than the math. I don’t even remember how long it took me; I just remember I was one of the last ones done. I read each story like at least 3 times: the first time just to get a good idea about the story, the second time to take notes about my reading and use all my strategies, and at the very end I read it again in order to check my answers. Some of the questions were just common sense, considering you could just answer them without reading the story. But some questions really made me think. Like the very last question in the story about the dog that never gave up and saved those people from that fire. But some questions were very easy because all you had to do is look back in the story. But my favorite type of questions are those ones that ask you," Based on the information in the passage, which one is most likely to happen?” I like those types of questions because they really get me thinking and every now and then I daydream about what could happen. But daydreaming really helps me solve those kinds of problems. It’s really funny that some of the answer choices make no sense at all. But sometimes they can be tricky but it gets me thinking, and I really love a challenge. But the story in the TAKS that I liked the most was the one about the substitute teachers and the kids plan to waste class but when they get a nice sub then he outsmarts them, and they have fun and finally learn to enjoy class. I could actually picture the story in my head, just like a TV. Looking back now at the test rally gets me thinking about my personal goals after college and stuff like that. It makes me think that I can overcome anything. But I can’t be too sure because I need to know my grade before I can move on. I just cant wait until I see my grade because I will be sad if I get a bad grade, but I am very confident that I got a good grade after looking at that test. I am also very confident in the reading considering I triple-checked my answers in the story. The only catch is, when in the world am I going to know my score?!?! Its eating me alive!!!

Future Quest

Okay, so in the future when I am an important person traveling the world with 70-year-old Angelina Jolie and helping out kids in other countries, with my part-time job of being a veterinarian, I'm going to look back and reminisce about my past years and taking the 1 test that has helped me reach my goals: The TAKS. Some people find it hard, but I think it's just another test. But before I look into the future, I have to think about my responsibilities now. I need to worry about passing the TAKS instead of just thinking things will come to me without work. I think the TAKS test will help me in the future because I would be like," When I passed the TAKS, then I know that I have reached my goal because I tried hard and succeeded, and it taught me to try my hardest." But I know that since I tried hard I will succeed, and it should be easy to get what I want. But after I pass the TAKS in my last year in high school, I will be like,"Yes!!! I made it!!!" And the I could submit a form (or whatever you have to send) and hopefully that college will accept me. When I graduate from college, I will get a nice job, like I said at the beginning of the story ( And if you don't know, ask Angelina Jolie hehehe ). But the TAKS test will have a major affect on me because I take it seriously. Meaning, if I pass it is a positive affect, because it will help me pass on to the next grade, and it would really mean a lot to me. But if I don't it will be the end of the world (Noooooooo!!!!). It doesn't really matter if I get commended because I am trying to aim higher and get a 100 so I will be like ," Hard work pays off." Hey, that sounds pretty nice. "Hard Work Pays Off!" (says in deep voice like a army general-dude).

My Experiences During Making the SImplifying Song with Pamela

My experiences during making the "$implifying R@p with P@m3l@".... hmmm... Well,it was nice working with somebody that actually KNOWS how to do Garageband. Pamela made a nice beat and I spit some bars. I rapped about Simplifying Fractions. It was funny because me and Pamela had 2 "special" guest stars (you will have to listen to the song to know ho it is). It was hard becuase when we recorded outside, then the wind kept on getting in the background. And I think we had audio issues because when we recorded our voices then we couldn't understand each other so we had to keep on recording over and over and over. And whenever we had the guest stars on, they were DRAMA QUEENS!!! They were trying to order us around and stuff telling them to GET A PACK OF M&M'S AND PICK OUT ALL THE RED ONES SO THEY CAN EAT THE RED ONES!!! Well, at the beginning, I guess I was pretty confident because I knew Pamela would be right there to help me write the lyrics and record and everything, so I knew I wasn't going in alone. But towards the end, I began to notice how some people were already done, so I felt like I was behind. I noticed actually how hard it was, but overall it was fun. I will surely look into more music-making into the future. I was just afraid that my voice will sound weird on it like it normally does, but thanks to our "special guest stars", they were good vocalist coaches.Hehehe.Thanks to them, I was very comfortable making music. I would just change who I would want as a guest star, because like I said, DRAMA QUEENS!!!

What I did over the weekend

On Saturday: I barely got any sleep because I went to be around 12:45-ish but had to wake up around 7:00 because my brother had a football game. It was funny because this little kid was making faces at me so I started yelling at him, then he told his coach "I got 5 tackles!" and I said "No he didn't because then out team (the Thunder) wouldn't be winning!" Then this lady in the front of us said,"I know that's right!If he got 5 tackles,what game is he playing in?!?!" But then I got in trouble because I was sitting at the very top,but my mom heard me. It was still good because I saw this boy that looked just like Justin Bieber. Now it was very boring the rest of the day, so I am going to skip to Sunday now. I woke up on Sunday like NOOOOOO!!!! Because Sunday is the worst day of the week. All I did was clean all day, but at least I got to play my Young Money CD. That is a very good CD. I also watched the recording of the KCA because I couldn't watch it on Saturday. Justin Bieber performed, and it was funny. Also, 2 of my favorite comedians, Chris Rock and Jonah Hill, were at the KCA. Also, Katy Perry majorly got slimed in the face, which looked like it hurt. And Rihanna performed. After I watched the KCA, we had a bar-b-q and mt dad's friend came over. I don't know what hapened after that, considering I wentt to bed VERY early at 8:45 (after watching Everybody Hates Chris).
